In this video, we'll show you how to remove and reinstall the mass air flow sensor on this 2005 Nissan Elantra. It is a pretty easy operation. You're only going to need a Phillips screwdriver.
Locating the mass air flow sensor, and I'm going to go remove that by squeezing in on the two sides of the clip and pulling it off. On either side of the mass air flow sensor, there are two hose clamps. They're both Phillips head. You can go ahead and loosen those.
We're going to unclip the two clips on the side of the air box just to give me a little bit more of a wiggle room. We'll go ahead and reinstall the part on the two hoses, and then make sure that my ear box temps are in place. I'm going to resecure the two clips on the ear box. I'll tighten up my hose clamps. Plug my connector back in.
