Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the master power window switch in this Chevy Silverado. This one's a 2015 LT. The only tools you'll need are a 7mm socket and ratchet and you might need a trim tool.
Open up the door. Then, you'll want to grab this panel firmly or you could use a trim tool and pull out and down. To get to your switches, you want to remove these four 7mm bolts. Then, rotate the panel up and pry out the bottom here a little bit. The panel comes up and then you can disconnect by pressing here and pull. Then, for the window switch, you just pry out on each one of these and push up on the switch at the same time. Pry out and then you see the window switch start to pop up. Keep pressure on it and it comes up and out.
This switch just goes right in, in reverse. Put it in, push it in, and make sure it's locked in. Reconnect the harness and then you feed the panel in. Go with the outside down in first and it locks into place. Replace your four screws. Just put this panel back in place at the top in first and lock it in.
