In this video, I'm going to show you how to replace a side rear view mirror on this 2004 Chevy Colorado, pretty much the same as any '04 to 12 Colorado. I'll show you the driver side. Passenger side is the exact same procedure. It is pretty simple. Only tool you'll need is either a 10mm wrench or a 10mm socket with a ratchet.
The mirror is pretty easy. Take this panel. You got to grab it and kind of pull it out firmly. Then pull it up. You can see the mirror plugs in right here. Disconnect that by pressing down on the tab here pulling out. Then three 10mm hold it in. Remove the mirror or whatever is left of it. As you can see, my original is in good shape. New mirrors from 1A Auto are going to be exactly the same as the original. Put it right back on. Hold it in place. Start your first bolt in. Put this down in. Pull the door panel up just a little bit to put it down there in place and snap it up in.
