Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the oil pressure sensor on this 2004 Jeep Liberty with the 3.7 liter V6 engine. The items you'll need for this include a new oil pressure sensor from 1AAuto.com, a right angle pick, a 27mm socket and ratchet with an extension, and a drip pan.

Your oil pressure sensor is located right up here above your oil filter. You want to start off by prying out the red tab on the harness. The tool that worked best for us was a 90 pick or a right angle pick. You pry out the red tab and pull the harness free. Now use a 27mm socket to remove the sensor.

On the left is the old oil pressure sensor; on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical, and they're going to fit exactly the same. Feed your new oil pressure sensor up into place and twist it in by hand. Then tighten it up with your socket and ratchet. Now reconnect your harness, push that red tab back in, and you're all set.
