Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.

In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the coolant overflow bottle on this 2009 Nissan Titan. The items you'll need for this are an 8mm socket and ratchet, a pair of pliers, two pairs of locking pliers, and some coolant.

Your coolant overflow bottle is right here. You want to just use some pliers and slide back that hose clamp. Then just pull this hose off. Then you want to remove these three 8mm bolts. We'll just fast-forward as Don does that. Now lock onto this hose with some locking pliers. This will prevent the hose from leaking any coolant while you go to pull the bottle out. Then lift the bottle up and clamp onto this hose with another pair of locking pliers, making sure that you're leaving room for that hose clamp to slide down.

Tilt your bottle back. Now, using your pliers, just push the teeth together and slide the hose clamp down, and then pull the hose from the bottle. They can be on there pretty tight, so just work away at it until you get it most of the way off. Once you've got it most of the way, just tilt the bottle back so that both of the holes are facing up. Then just pull that hose free and your coolant bottle's free.

Take your new coolant bottle and push that lower hose back into place. Remove those locking pliers, and slide that hose clamp back up into place. Push the bottle back down and replace those three 8mm bolts. You can see he just starts each of them by hand and then tightens them up with a socket and ratchet. Remove the locking pliers from the hose and push the hose back into place. Then slide that hose clamp back into place.

Replace your coolant. Then replace your cap, and you're all set.
