In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the rear cup holder. It is a pretty easy operation. You'll need a new cup holder from 1AAuto.com, and a flat blade screwdriver.
Obviously, replacing your rear cup holder isn't a difficult repair, but it's very common for these mounting tabs to be broken during removal, for carpets and other jobs that require you to take the cup holder out, as well as them being damaged in other ways.
Using a small flatblade screwdriver, pop up under the center of the cup holder. Pull it out. You can see, just a little bit of pressure broke the clip. Like I said, very common for these to get broken and damaged.
To install the new one, slide it under the trim under the seat. Pop it straight down into place.
Thanks for tuning in. We hope this video helped you out. Next time you need parts for your car, please visit 1AAuto.com. Also check out our other helpful how-to and diagnosis videos.
