Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!

To remove the grab handle pocket, take our plastic prying tool. You can get these from 1aauto.com. Go underneath gently, and then kind of push it in and catch the metal tab. Push it in and then up and it should pull right out. You might need to do the same thing on this side, but sometimes it'll pop right up. There's two metal tabs there. It comes right out.

Remove the Phillips head screw that's inside here using a Phillips head screwdriver. Take that right out. Open up this little cover here to get the screws behind it, using a small flat headed screwdriver. Pop it open. It's a Philips head screw in here. Remove that. Pop this cover off. So you can actually go up here with the plastic prying tool, kind of pry it up, and it's going to pry off the bottom in the same way, and then it's going to pull out this way like a hook. You might have to open this lever. So you're unhooking it from there too.

Door trim is clipped into the metal part of the door. So I need to get in here and pull it from the clips. I can't get my fingers underneath here. Use the plastic prying tool. Wedge the plastic prying tool in between the plastic in the middle. Just kind of find your way in here. Slide down. I like to start at the bottom. Use a plastic prying tool, a bigger one, find your way underneath like that and then just pry it out. Go along the edge. And then once you can get your hands in there then you can start to pull out the rest of the clips. It's going to happen, it's going to lift up like this. The top of the door clips over the metal part. Lift it straight up. I need to unplug. This is the power window switch, so you're going to have to reach under here. Unlock. It's on the side. Push it in and pull it out.

To remove the door speaker, come play it from here and then remove. There's three 10 millimeter self-tightening bolts that are on the outside edge. You also have a Phillips head cutout in them, but I'm going to use the 10 millimeter socket and ratchet. It's a lot easier. Take the speaker out of the door. If you don't, cause it doesn't have a hook here.

To remove the door check, I'm going to loosen the ten-millimeter bolt that's here holding it to the body. Just be aware when you loosen this, the door can close a lot easier and can also swing out past further than it should. The door check is what keeps that. There are some stops on the hinges, but the door will be pretty loose. Just be sure not to pinch your fingers in here. Remove this. Put that bolt aside. Now this door panel is loose. Remove these two. So I'm going to take off my extension and get them freed up. Just use my fingers to remove them. Put these bolts aside.

You're going to reach up through the speaker opening. Push this out and into my hand. Feed it out of the opening. There's the door check. This one was working fine. I'm going to reuse it.

Slide it back up into the door opening, through the speaker hole and out the opening here. Get it into place. Get one of these bolts captured. So it's got these bolts. It just has the extension in the socket. Get this lined up and started. Tighten this up. It's tight, I'll stop. Put the extension off. Tighten these up. Those are tight. Just stop and the door checkers are in place.

To reinstall the speaker, there's a hook, goes over here. The connectors on the top. Line it up with the plastic grommets. I'll get this top one started. Install the other two self-tapping points. Reconnect the electrical connector. The speaker's all set. If one of your door clips stays stuck in the door, you take your clip puller tool, just put it in here, pop it out, push that back in the door panel and reuse it. There's clips sitting here just like this, so just find the one that's missing, put it back into place. Just slide it in. And we'll reinstall the door panel. Plug in our window switch. Just goes up from the bottom. It's key that it only goes in one way. The lock that's kind of facing the other way. It goes in, it'll click when it locks in place.

We'll lift up our door panel, the top is curved. It's going to hang on the door panel just like that. So we'll start it up top. This doesn't matter if the window is up or down for this. Sits all the way down because that should go over the pull handle freely. Get it lined up. Start to push it back in on the clips. Reinstall the Phillips head screw. Reinstall the string cover. It does have a hook here. You'll have to lift out this handle and slide it in, and then kind of hook it, and then it's got these tabs on both the top and bottom that will push in over the plastic. Reinstall the screw. There we go. Push the door back in. Reinstall the little pull handle. There's an arrow, points outwards, so when you flip it this way the arrow would be pointing this way. Just push it right back into place.
