How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a broken or snapped off rear hatch handle on 07 Mini Cooper S.

step 1 :Removing the Hatch Handle
- Open the rear hatch
- Lift the hatch slightly
- Remove the four T20 Torx screws from the bottom of the hatch handle
- Slide the handle off the hatch
- Unplug the hatch handle wiring connector

step 2 :Installing the Hatch Handle
- Plug in the hatch handle electrical connector
- Slide the handle onto the hatch
- Fasten the four T20 screws into the hatch handle

What's up guys. I'm Andy from 1A Auto. Today I'm going to show you how to remove this hatch handle on this 2007 Mini Cooper S. If there's any parts you need for your vehicle, click the link in the description and head over to 1AAuto.com.
You're going to lift the rear hatch just a little bit. I’m going to take a T20 Torx bit and extension in a ratchet. I'm going to take these Torx screws out. There's four of them.
We're going to grab this trim piece. Slide it up. The connector right here. Grab on the connector. Disconnect the connector right there. Just grab together and pull.
Reconnect this connector. There is a little tab on the connector. It goes into the slot. Line that up. Lock it in place. We can reposition and you take the Torx screws. Get these all started. Once we get these all started, then I'll snug them down with my ratchet.
