How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a damaged, bent, or failing windshield wiper arm on 14 Subaru Crosstrek
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
To change your rear wiper blade, you pull it up off the glass. And then just pivot it out and it will unclip. Slide it this way, so you're basically popping this part of the blade off of where it clips on the arm.
This wiper blade's in pretty good shape, but I'm just going to clean it and get some of the dirt and debris off of it just using some glass cleaner and a rag. Instead of replacing it, since the rubber is still in good shape, we're going to clean it. If it was ripped and torn, then we would replace it.
To reinstall it I'm going to slide it over the arm, work that little pivot point back into the opening, it will snap into place. It's attached, now put it back down on the glass.
