How to repair, install, fix, change or replace a damaged, bent, or failing windshield wiper arm on 11 Toyota Prius
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
To remove the rear wiper blade from the vehicle, you'll actually want to start down here at this little cap. Pull it out this way—it'll unlock it. It's on a hinge, so it'll flip up. Then you can flip the whole arm up and away from the window, and you can pull down on the wiper blade and snap it off of the arm.
This wiper blade is actually in good shape, it's not torn, so we're going to reuse it. Just take it, and clip it back into place. Put it up just like that to the lock. Lay it back down on the window, close this cap, and the wiper blades are replaced.
And the reason why you lift this cap up is because before you lift it up, you can't raise the wiper arm far enough to take the blade off.
