How to Replace Side Mirror Puddle Light Bulb 2000-07 Volvo V70

Hi, everyone. Sue here at 1A Auto. Today I'm going to show you how to remove the puddle light lens assembly on the outside mirrors on a '03 Volvo V70. If you need any parts for your car, click on the link below and head on over to 1aauto.com.

What you're going to need is a flathead screwdriver, and you're going to take your mirror and push it in the up position, all the way up like that. And then right inside here there's a tab that goes where the mirror is, and it is located on the outer edge. Take that tab, push it in, and the light falls right out. So the sockets are twist-in. Turn it in. Now you have the lens apart from the socket. Pull the bulb out. This is 923 bulb.

To install it, just reverse procedure. You've got the bulb and the two tabs. Line them up. Put the socket in the light assembly, and twist it until it snaps. You're going to put in the wire harness side first, and that side last. So, just put it up, line it up, and then just snap it up in.
