How to Replace Tail Light 2001-07 Ford Escape

In this video, we're going to show you how to service a taillight on both changing just the bulb as well as if you need to replace your entire taillight. At 1AAuto.com, we do sell the entire tail light. If you have a little incident and you have a broken tail light, we work on the passenger side. The driver side is the exact the same. The only tool you will need is a Phillips screwdriver.

Okay, change the bulb or replace the whole taillight when if you've got a broken one. There's two Phillips screws right here, remove them. Okay, then pull firmly out on the light. Okay. That's two pins that go into holes there. All these bulbs. The receptacles, just turn it counterclockwise. Disconnect first. Turn counterclockwise, it comes out. These bulbs, you can pull straight out and back in. Same thing with these two. Then it will come out.

If you're replacing your entire assembly, just pull it off like that. Take that bulb out. Then your taillights, pull them out and see they're exactly like the original. Bulbs are going to go in just like the original. Twist clockwise to lock. This one in then clockwise to lock. Just turn this around here, plug this one back in. Then put this in place. Just look these pins right into these holes. The tail lights in, put your screws back in. Whether you've got, you just need to change your bulb or if you have a broken tail light and your replacing it with one from 1AAuto.com. This will take care of your problem.
