Here are the items you'll need for this repair: 8mm socket, ratchet, and gloves.

Open the hatch on your vehicle. Remove the two eight millimeter bolts on the inside edge of the tail light here. We're going to use a socket and ratchet for that. Once the bolts are out, pull the taillight straight back toward you. On the back of your taillight you have a marker light at the top, your reverse light in the middle and at the bottom is a combination of a secondary marking light, a turn signal and your brake light.

To change these bulbs, any one, simply twist a quarter turn. To remove the bulb wriggle it back and forth a little and remove it from the socket. The new bulb simply pops in. We'll reinstall into our housing. A quarter turn clockwise will lock it back into place.

To remove the reverse light bulb, click counter clockwise one turn. Remove the socket from the housing. Wriggle the bulb out. Pop your new bulb back into the socket. Reinstall it in the housing. Quarter turn clockwise locks it back into place.

To remove the marker turn signal brake light bulb at the bottom, quarter turn counter clockwise, remove the socket from the housing, carefully wriggle the bulb out of its socket. Snap a new bulb back into place. Reinstall the socket in the housing. Quarter turn clockwise locks it back in.

These alignment pins snap into the two holes here. Simply line them up, give them a little push into place. You may have to push in on the tail light a little to get the holes to line up. Then you can start your screws. Tighten them back down with your eight millimeter socket and ratchet. You can see that the screws here have a very course thread on them for cutting into the plastic so the first time they go in may feel a little tight. That's just because it's cutting in the threads to lock into the new holes. Close your tailgate. Check for proper operation of your light bulbs before hitting the road and you're good to go.
