Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and the next time you need a part for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the trunk power lock switch on this 2002 Chevy Suburban. The only tool you'll need for this is a flat blade screwdriver.
Start off by pulling out this panel where your trunk lock switch is located. Then, using a flat blade screwdriver, push in that tab and disconnect the harness.
Push in this metal tab while applying pressure to the back of the switch and it will pop out. To pry it from this bezel, you just pry in between these two tabs and the switch will pull free.
Push your new switch into the bezel and then push the switch back into this panel.
Reconnect your harness. Line up the pins on the panel and then push it back into place and just hit in this upper clip.
