Okay, to change a tail light or tail light bulb on a F150 all you will need is a 8mm wrench or socket or also 5/16th does it, basically the same size. Start by removing these two 8mm bolts here. Okay, once those bolts are out this is the part that's a little scary, scares me a little bit, too, but grab the light, grab it in behind here and pull it. You can see there's little pins right here that go into little plastic grommets there. That's what holds it. From there you twist and you can service your bulbs. That's for after or if you've had a little altercation and broken your tail light you can change your tail light simple. Then obviously installation is reverse of the procedure. Bulbs back in. You want to line up this pin with this and then this pin here goes into this hole here. Then it has the same thing at the bottom. It's got a pin here that goes into a hole and the pin here that goes into the grommet. Line everything up, push it in, get your bolts, and you're all set.
