In this video, we show you how to replace the transfer case speed sensor on this 4-wheel drive 1996 Chevy Tahoe, and the only items you'll need for this is an adjustable wrench and a flat-blade screwdriver.
The transfer case speed sensor is located right here, and you want to start off by just pushing the tab on the harness and disconnecting it. And then use an adjustable wrench to remove the sensor. And we'll just fast forward as Don does this. The speed sensor will pull out. Push your new sensor into place, and tighten it up. Then replace your harness, and you're all set.
