How to Replace Turn Signal Marker Bulbs 2009-17 Chevy Traverse

How to replace a broken, damaged or burnt out turn signal light bulb to the 12 Chevy Traverse.

step 1 :Removing the Turn Signal Marker Bulbs
- Remove the T20 Torx screw from the splash shield beneath the headlight
- Turn the socket counterclockwise
- Remove the socket
- Pull the bulb from the socket

step 2 :Installing the Turn Signal Marker Bulbs
- Press the bulb onto the socket
- Turn the socket clockwise
- Tighten the T20 Torx screw to the splash shield

For both sides, remove the two T20 Torx at the bottom of the fender liner where it connects to the bumper. With these two Torx screws removed, you can bend the fender liner down where it connects to the bumper. And we have our side marker light and turn signal light. Reach up for the side marker light and pull it out. It's a 194 amber, and it just pulls straight out of the socket and pushes right back in.
Find the little lugs where it meets in and turn it clockwise to lock it. Turn signal bulb, turn it counterclockwise to unlock it. Pull it out of the housing. It's an amber turn signal bulb. It's an 1157 amber bulb. It just pulls right out. Just plug it right back in. Put it up into the housing. Should just kind of feel around. It'll slide right in like that, and then turn it clockwise to lock it. Close this back up. Reinstall the Torx screws. This will be the same for both sides.
