This video shows you how to install a new washer nozzle on your 2009-18 Ram 1500.
Needle nose pliers
Trim Tool Set
All right, let's get this out of here. Now, we have a nice clear view under here and I can tell that, well, this is broken right off. So we need to get the piece out of here. I'm just gonna use my little forky tool. You can also use a small pocket screwdriver, or wherever you might happen to have. We'll get the piece right out of there, set this aside, double check this to make sure it's not damaged in any way. I think it looks perfect. So I'm just gonna slide it a little bit to get it out of the way.
Now, we're gonna get this out, It's gonna be very easy to pop this out. Use some nice long pliers and go front to back, just like this. You don't wanna go side to side because there's gonna be a couple little pinchy tabs. There we are. So it would have been better if it was a little bit more controlled. But as you can tell, it was in very poor condition in the first place.
Let's go ahead and recycle this and we're gonna get ready for an install. Okay friends, let's get ready for our install. I'm just gonna take this. I'm gonna make sure it's aiming straight at the windshield. We don't, obviously, want the washer nozzle facing towards the front of the truck. Carefully take it, line it up and press it in. Give it a nice wiggle. Make sure it's nice and secure. Let's get back under the hood.
Okay, let's go ahead and plug this back in. Just be careful not to break that new nozzle. Now, before we go ahead and put that hood liner back in there, I just wanted to show you got a little hooky dude down over there that it needs to get caught on to. And then over on the passenger side, you're also gonna have another one. With that said, let's grab the hood liner and get it installed.
