In this video, we're going to be working with our 2008 Chevy Equinox. We're going to show you how to remove and replace your wiper blades on the front of the vehicle. We're doing this on the driver's side but the procedure will be exactly the same on the passenger side. If you like this video, please click subscribe. We have a ton more information on this and many other vehicles, and if you ever need parts for your car, you can follow the link down in the description over to 1AAuto.com. The only items you'll need for this repair are your hands and a new pair of wiper blades.
Lift your wiper blade up off of the windshield. Tilt it out so you can access the button on the bottom of the wiper and push down, and slide the wiper blade off of the hook. Now, we'll want to carefully place the wiper on down because these are under spring tension, and if it snaps down, it could break your windshield.
Get your new wiper blade and when you're ready, lift the arm back up, and slide it over the hook. Make sure it goes in there nice and straight. If you push it on too far crooked, that happens and the little clip pops out. Make sure you get it on there nice and straight. Click it into place and set it back down.
