In this video we are going to show you how to replace the wiper switch on this '95 Accord. Same as any '94 to '97. The only tools you'll need are a Phillips screwdriver and a small flat blade screwdriver. You're going to start by disconnecting your negative battery terminal. Remove three screws from the bottom that hold the steering column trim together. One is up in there. This is your adjust lever here. One is on the other side, right up there above where the key goes. One's down in the middle, right here. Those all three are Phillips screws. Once you have those screws removed, just pull this apart. This piece comes, the top comes right off. The bottom pulls out and down. Pretty easy process.
You're going to want to put your key on a little bit so you can turn the wheel and then get to these two Phillips screws and remove them. Once those screws are out, you just want to use a little screwdriver to pull out there. There's a little loop that holds it. This one looks like it's been replaced before and it's been broken. Pull it right out. Here's your switch. There's a lead right here with a delay. Here's the original one. Here's the new one from 1A Auto. You can see all the same. Everything's going to bolt up and hook up the same. All the same connections. Just the graphics a little fresher. This one is fine on this car, so installation... Hook our harnesses back up. Slide it into place. It will click and then put the screws back in. Installing this trim is easy enough. Put the top on, put the bottom on. Twist it a little bit. Snap it together. Now put the three screws back in. Now we'll speed up going through these screws. Then you're just going to want to reconnect your battery and you'll be all set.
