Watch this video to learn how to remove and install a windshield wiper blade on a 2010 Toyota Rav4.
What's up, guys? I'm Andy from 1A Auto. In this video, I'm going to show you how to replace the wiper blades on this 2010 Toyota RAV4. Do you need parts for your vehicle? Click the link in the description and head over to 1AAuto.com.
All right, grab your wiper arm and slide it up. Now, some of these blades might be different. Some you might have a little button on the bottom like this that you have to push in. This one, you actually have to fold the blade like this and then there's two little ears right there and that fold this arm in. You just slide it off the ears and slide it right off.
Something important when you're changing the wiper blades, if you have to walk away from the vehicle, you're going to want to just place this down on the windshield lightly. You could even put a little rag under there or something to prevent the windshield from scratching. Just make sure you don't get in the car and turn the wipers on, because you'll get a nice big scratch on the windshield. But you don't want this to just be hanging out like this, because this could just slam down and crack your windshield.
All right, now I'm going to install the wiper blade. Now with these blades, we have that latch system on the front, so I just have to rotate that out a little bit. Then just slide the arm in. Just like that. Lock it in place. Then once the arm levels out, then it's locked in there and good. Reposition the wiper. It's the same on the passenger side.
