step 1 :Resetting the Oil Light
- Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine
- The settings buttons are to the left of the steering column
- Press the reset button until the milage is displayed
- Hold down the setup button until "reset for system check" is displayed
- Hold down the setup button again until "oil life = 0%" is displayed
- Hold down the reset button until "oil life set to 100%" is displayed

I'm just going to turn the key on into the on position without starting the vehicle. All right, oil change required. We're just going to hit the reset button. Keep hitting the reset button until you get to the mileage. Then we're going to hold down the setup button. You're going to get to this section, and then we'll hold the setup button again, and it goes to oil life. Oil life is zero. We're going to hold down the reset button until it's 100%, and you're good to go.
