Brought to you by 1AAuto.com, your source for quality replacement parts and the best service on the internet. Hi I'm Mike Green. I'm one of the owners of 1AAuto. I want to help you save time and money repairing or maintaining your vehicle. I'm going to use my 20 plus years experience restoring and repairing cars and trucks like this to show you the correct way to install parts from 1AAuto.com. The right parts installed correctly, that's going to save you time and money. Thank you and enjoy the video.
In this video we cover the headlights on this '94 Corolla, same as any '94-'97. We show you both if you're just looking to replace the bulbs as well as replacing the whole headlight assemblies and it's pretty straightforward. The only tools you'll need are a Phillips screwdriver and a 10mm wrench or a socket and ratchet.
Okay pop your hood. Open it up and attach the support rod. You're just looking to change one of your headlight bulbs. Okay, you just reach in behind and you can see my hand go through there and it's hard to film but just turn your bulb counterclockwise and pull it out. That's it. There you can see the bulb so that's what you're grabbing on to. Turn it counterclockwise. Once the bulb's out, there's a little tab right here that you press on. Remove the bulb. Just put your new bulb back on. Reach in. Just make sure you get in there and then turn it clockwise. It will lock it into place. There you can reach the low beam over here the same way then on after each side, they're pretty easy to get to as well.
If you're changing your entire headlight assembly, then what I did here is I just turned the lights on, chimed them at the wall and marked with a concentration of the headlight beam is. That way when you put your new headlight assemblies in, you can adjust them to match the old ones. Start by removing three fork screws. We'll speed up here a little for you. Now right in behind, you can see right here you want to separate these two tabs. Okay, same thing on this side. Unlock these two tabs. Okay, there you go. Right up and off.
Okay it's going to be a screw removed right here. What you want to do with these is you shake them around a little bit. There's a pit in here that holds it that can be tight sometimes. Just give it a good shake that I reach in with this finger and I can latch around the piece of plastic that's going this way and hold it with both hands. Bring it up out and then now each headlight is held on with two 10mm nuts on each side, one here and then one up here and a 10mm bolt right here. 10mm socket with a ratchet and extension and a little fast forward as we take those two nuts and the one bolt off. Now we can reach down on this side and pull out. Okay, and then you can turn your bulbs. Either turn your bulbs counterclockwise or press down the tabs and disconnect your harnesses from the bulbs.
Your headlight comes out. Okay, here's your old light. Nice new headlight from 1AAuto. This car actually has low miles so the headlights aren't even that bad. I've seen cars with much worse headlights and the new ones from 1AAuto nice and clear. Then we're going to plug in just the same as the original. Okay, make sure that bottom goes in. This goes counterclockwise and pulls out. Here's that light from 1AAuto. Obviously if your light is broken, you're going to need a new one. You can also see just a little clear, little nicer, cleaner than the original.
Open just clockwise. We're going to put the light in. Make sure the bottom is going into the pin back on. Okay, insert your screw and then tighten it up and again you don't need to have this too tight. Just make sure it's in there firm. You don't want to over tighten it. Okay, lights back on. See we're doing pretty well. If you're ready to aim your lights, Phillips screwdriver. This one moves the lights up and down and then this right here moves lights right to left. Okay, finished on the grill. Just watch your clips right and then low, adjust your bulb on, drop on and then three screws. Okay we'll speed it up here again and these screws make sure they're nice and firm but don't over tighten them.

In this video, we show you how to replace the side marker lights, that light right next to the headlight on this '94 Corolla, the same as any '94 to '97. We show you both replacing the whole assembly, as well as just the bulb. The only tool you'll need is a Phillip's screwdriver.
Pop your hood, open it up and attach the support rod. There's going to be a screw to remove right here. Then what you want to do with these, you want to kind of shake them around a little bit. There's a pin in here that holds it that can be tight sometimes. So, just give it a good shake. Then I reach in with this finger and I can latch around the piece of plastic that's going in this way and pull with both hands. Bring it up and out.
Then this goes counter-clockwise and pulls out. Then there's a bulb that will come out.
Here's our new light from 1A Auto. Obviously if your corner light's broken you're going to need a new one. You can also see it's just a little clearer, a little nicer and cleaner than the original. Put the bulb in, twist it clockwise, then put the light in. Make sure the bottom is going into the pin. Push back some. Insert your screw and then tighten it up. Again, you don't need to have this too tight, just make sure it's in there firm. You don't want to over tighten it.
