If you're tuning into this video, you've probably come to a part on our website that specifies a certain RPO code. As you can see here, we've point this part is for models with an RPO code NP8. RP stands for Regular Production Option. It's a system that GM uses to identify all the options on their vehicles.
You can see here, we open up the glove box, and here's the sticker that list all the RPO codes. On this sticker, all the codes are listed in alphabetical order. The top left has all the A's, and the RPO code beginning in A and then it goes to the right then down to the next line.
In this case, we're looking for RPO code NP8. As our site lists it here, we go and check the sticker for NP8, and then that part is correct for the vehicle. If you do not find NP8, then your car does not have that option and that part would not be correct.
