How to check and refill the power steering, brake, and washer fluid, coolant, and engine oil on the Nissan Murano
Hi, I’m Mike from 1A Auto. We’ve been selling auto parts for over 30 years!
Let's open the hood. Got the safety latch here. There it is. It's got its own support struts. Start on the driver side. An air filter. The underhead fuse panel. I'm going to unhook it. Pull it off. It has the fuse listings on the inside. It tells you which direction, the front. It matches up with these under here. Put that back in place and of course the battery.
And your brake fluid is located up here because the break passes the cylinders under on the firewall so you can have easy access it because it’s got a big cowl panel. They put the brake fluid reservoir out here. Transmission dipstick. Right here a cap. Oil dipstick is down here; it's with this yellow handle on it. We need to add oil. Add here.
Here's the coolant overflow bottle. It's kind of semi-transparent. You can see the level down here if I shake it a little bit. So it's right at the max level. There's a max written on the side of it and then a minimum. Of course, washer fluid. And power steering reservoir. There's two levels on it so max hot, max cold, because the car is cold right now and it's at the max level for cold.
