All you'll need is a new hood support rod retainer from 1A Auto and no tools are necessary.

In this video, we're going to be showing you how to replace this prop rod retainer. It's kind of right here. You may wonder well a lot of times these get broken off from use. Sometimes in and out. A bunch of times, these can break if you leave your prop rod in the wrong spot and put your hood down. You can break it and other times somebody may be doing work, maybe you take out your battery and something accidentally hits it. They can break pretty easily.
