In this video, we're going to show you how to replace the side mirror glass on this 2005 Ford F150, and we show you on the driver side, but the passenger side is the same procedure, and there are no tools required for this.

So, you can see here, we have a broken mirror. It's easy to show on the new one. Basically, what you want to do is reach back in here and get your fingers in, and on each side of these two tabs, there's tabs that hook over. So, you get your fingers in, and pull back on these tabs. So, I'm going to go from the top, so I don't have any glass that gets onto my hands. So, you can just pull the mirror back, and you can see, there's the tab, and then the 2 tabs on each side, and I'm going to probably block your view, but just reach in, pull the tabs back, and release them, and pull it, and then try to slowly . try not to press on the mirror, and try and pull on the other side. Get to the other side, and keep pulling here. Go from the top on the other side, and actually it just released, but if it doesn't release that easy, you can go from the top on the other side, pull the 2 tabs on here, and then usually it comes off.

On the left, is the old mirror glass. On the right, is the new one from 1AAuto. You can see they're identical, and they'll fit exactly the same.

Now, to put the new one in, I'm just going to kind of look down, and line it up, and I'm going to actually press in this tab a little bit to make sure it goes in underneath, and then I'm going to push on the center of the glass.
