Hi, I'm Mike from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video, we're going to show you how to service the bulbs as well as replace the entire fog light assembly on this 2003 GMC Envoy. It's the same part and similar process on the regular Envoys on all the models made after 2002. The items you'll need include new fog lights from 1AAuto.com and a 10mm socket and ratchet.
Reach up behind the back of your fog light. Push down on this tab and disconnect the harness. Then you can just service the bulb by twisting it counterclockwise, pulling it out, twisting your new one in, and turning it clockwise to lock it.
Now to remove the entire assembly, you just want to remove these three 10mm nuts. We'll fast-forward as Mike does that. Now push the fog light from behind until you can grip it from the front and pull it up the rest of the way.
On the left is the old fog light; on the right is the new one from 1A Auto. You can see they're identical, and they'll fit exactly the same. Take your new fog light, push it back into place until those studs pull through, and then replace those three 10mm nuts, tighten them up, and reconnect the harness. Then you're all set.
