1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, Perfect Fit. attach/secure the lowers first as it seems as though they are a bit less forgiving, otherwise super easy.
I love these kits

I bought this kit for my 94' grand cherokee. Shocks fit perfect and are extremely responsive and recover from some of the most serious bumps with ease. If they last 60-80K miles I will be pleased.

Customer Q&A
So my front gas shock on the passenger side snapped in two places should I replace all four?

Its probably a wise decision to go ahead a replace them. I replaced all 4 of mine and the parts I got from 1Aauto where a exact fit.

Depends. If the shocks have been on the vehicle for a few years or more I would change all four. If the shocks aren't that old just changing the single shock shouldn't cause any problems. Just make sure you match it as closely as you can. If you aren't the original owner there is no telling what any previous owners installed. Can't take it for granted that they replaced OEM wiith OEM spec shocks. Additionally, if it has any lift installed and you didn't do it to verify what shocks are installed I would at least replace both front shocks. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the question. We do suggest replacing all of them especially if the front RH side one snapped due to age. It would be best to replace the others before they fail.

Yeah and my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee it says these shocks won't work on UpCountry do you know what that means?

This is a specific suspension type so certain shocks won't be able to work properly. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any further questions.
