Hi, I'm Don from 1A Auto. I hope this how-to video helps you out, and next time you need parts for your vehicle, think of 1AAuto.com. Thanks.
In this video we show you how to replace the exterior door handle on this 2004 Nissan Titan, and we show you on the driver side door, but the passenger side is the same procedure. The items you'll need are a new exterior door handle from 1AAuto.com and a T30 Torx driver.
Start off by pulling out this rubber cap on the inside of your door and then remove that T30 Torx bolt. I'll just fast-forward as Don does that. Open your door handle and then push the lock bezel forward and out, and then, just pull out your lock. You want to pull it back enough so that you have enough room to slide your door handle back. Once you slide the door handle back, the front end will come out and then you can pull it back and up.
Up front is the old door handle and the back is new one from 1AAuto. You can see it's identical and it's going to fit exactly the same. Pull back on your lock, push the back into the door handle in, then slide it forward, push the front end in and then slide it forward the rest of the way, and then push your lock back in. Now replace that T30 Torx bolt and just put it on the end of your driver or Torx bit, fit it into place and tighten it up and then replace that rubber cap. Now on your lock bezel there's a tab that you need to push onto the lock, so pull back on your door handle, push the bezel in and then slide it back and you're all set.
